Living under a mountain of waste

On the outskirts of the Indian capital, the smoldering piles of garbage in Bhalswa reach up to 60 meters high and have become a symbol of the air pollution surrounding the megacity. Several tens of thousands of workers sleep nearby and live off the 11,000 tons of waste produced each day.
